I love this for so many reasons. My sister’s ‘high school sweetheart’ was a member of 7side (I think they were called 7sidedice at this point. D&D reference?), so I’ve already had an inside look at the seedy underbelly of Chilliwack’s rap scene. I remember driving some of the kids in these photos to a battle at the Ukranian Hall in my mom’s minivan. I think they gave me 60$ even though they lost, so “explorations of the nuances of race, class, gender and sexuality” aside…
